  • Notes 
    • Nelson was living at Rolling Ground, Crawford County, Wisconsin in 1863. He probably moved to Scotland County, Missouri in 1858 when the Nutters moved to Missouri. He may be the Nelson Enyart appearing on the 1900 census of Washington County, Kansas, without any apparent family. Nelson had a falling out with his brothers and sisters after being appointed executor of his father's estate and trying to abscond with the proceeds. There was a major lawsuit in 1863 surrounding this incident.
