Final Resting Place

Mathias was buried at St. Agnes Cemetery in Ashland, Wisconsin next to his wife and his four young children who died in 1885.

Mathias lived a long life from the first few years in Germany to growing up in Wisconsin to working with lumber in northern Wisconsin. I’d like to thank him for everything he did, because without him and what he did I would not be here today typing this. Thank you, Mathias.
