April 24, 1927

On April 24, 1927, Johann Thielke passed away at the age of 83. According to his death certificate at the Ozaukee County Courthouse, he died of “bronchitis contracted from a cold.”

He was buried at St. Paul’s Cemetery in the village of Grafton, Wisconsin. His wife, Minnie, passed away two years later in 1929 and is buried next to him.

He not only left behind friends and family, he left behind some mystery and research for his descendants. While I like to know all of the information, finding it myself it much more exciting. Well played, Johann.
