Mathias and his family are listed in the 1870 US Census now living just north of Morrison in Wrightstown, Brown Co., Wisconsin. Mathias’ wife is listed as what looks like Harriette, though her middle name has been listed as Henrietta, which is probably the case. One weird anomaly to note is that it lists his father as being born in France. They may have confused something with Mathias’ wife’s family who had people born in France, I don’t know.
They have had their first two children by this time, Albert and Mary.
