The Marriage
February 11, 1867
On 11 Feb 1867, Mathias married Paulina “Polly” THOMPSON, daughter of William and Francis (Quinet) Thompson, in Holland, Brown Co., Wisconsin. Holland is very near to Morrison.
Mathias lists his occupation as Farmer, which is what he seems to have done most of the time, but there is no mention of his birthplace on the marriage document. It is a Roman Catholic service and one of Paulina’s sisters, Emilia, was a witness.
