Mathias is listed in the 1930 US Census living with his daughter Clara and her family. The census record itself shows Mathias listed with the family next to Clara’s, but it seems to have put him in the wrong spot. He was probably enumerated first, but they put the family and house numbers in the wrong spot.
Mathias is now (around) 90 years old and is finally listed as retired. Though, the listing marks him as immigrating in 1880, he was here much longer than that which is proven by census records.
