1895 Ashland City Directory

Mathias is listed in the 1895 Ashland City Directory living at 303 7th Ave E. It also mentions that his sons Albert and Henry also reside here as “boarders.” It also notes that Mathias is a millwright.
It is interesting that Mathias purchased land in 1893 just south of Ashland, but it now looks like he is living in the city of Ashland. I’m not sure if he still owns the land and farms it, or if he later re-sold it. Though, he is listed as living at this same address in 1890 and 1891 according to information from those city directories, but there is no scanned image available.
